What we do
At Geneva Angel Investor Network (GAIN), we think of solutions beyond profit. Our mission is to build a better world by supporting innovative and impact-driven people and connecting them with investors and experts.
Launched in autumn 2020, Geneva Angel Investor Network (GAIN) is a non-profit association and the first angel investor network in Switzerland to focus exclusively on impact-driven projects and the Sustainable Development Goals.
Based in Geneva and active in the whole Romandie region.
We have created a whole community between investors, domain experts and entrepreneurs who collaborate to help:

● private organizations
● but also, government bodies
● and venture capitalists.
With GAIN, a real change is both profitable and sustainable.
How GAIN can become YOUR solution?
For Members
Finding investment opportunities is more difficult than you thought? Between research and networking, you have to optimize your time. What if we can do this for you? If you are looking for a community that allows you to invest in, advise and coach some of Switzerland’s most promising and innovative impact-driven startups, GAIN is the only angel investor network you should think about. Among other benefits, all GAIN members get exclusive access to our extensive startup database and private invitations to our events. We spot promising early-stage startups that have integrated into their business models Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
For Startups
We know how hard it is for entrepreneurs to bring ideas to life. Even more when it lies on how to raise sufficient from trustworthy and qualified investors. Our strategy brings them a complete solution, beyond the simple investment. Our events are great opportunities for entrepreneurs to present their innovative project and increase their visibility, but above all, it is a great recognition of their hard work.
If you’re based in the Romandie region, take your chance and pitch your project to GAIN investors during one of our Impact Demo Days. We receive business portfolio submissions on a rolling basis.

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries – developed and developing – in a global partnership. They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.
Changing our Minds to elevate our Actions
Because change starts with hope, but only happens with action. We strongly believe that we can make a social and economic impact by making the right choices. To do that, we join forces whith like-minded people who share the same values.
And what a better than the UN’s initiative to improve the world situation, combining 17 goals inspired by the most pressing challenges in the world. To contribute to the UN initiative at our level, we consider solely projects with at least one of the SDGs integrated.
